Will Smith’s first post-slap film, ‘Emancipation,’ pushed to 2023: report

Will Smith fans are waiting longer and longer to see the actor’s return to movies. Apple and Smith’s production company, Westbrook Studios, are pushing back the release of his action-drama “Emancipation” to 2023, Variety reported. A source close to the situation told the publication “it’s the unspoken truth” that the film will not hit the streaming platform this year.
