Viacom18 Wins Rights for Women’s Indian Premier League Cricket for $116 Million

Viacom18 has acquired media rights for the inaugural Women’s Indian Premier League (WIPL) seasons 2023-2027, the board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) revealed on Monday. The rights, which include global television and digital rights, were acquired for INR9.51 billion ($116.4 million) with each match valued at $868,000.
