U.S. Federal Judge Overturns Public Transportation Mask Mandate On Airplanes, Trains & Buses
BREAKING: A federal judge in Florida has ruled that requiring citizens to wear masks on public transportation is unlawful, overturning a 14-month-old effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. The ruling will apply to buses, trains and airplanes. Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle stated that the CDC had “exceeded its authority” with the mandate. “Therefore, TSA will not require its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs at this time.
