Popular rideshare company Uber has once again found itself in the middle of serious legal drama and this time hundreds of women are taking the company to court. According to recent reports, more than 500 female passengers have filed an official lawsuit against Uber due to multiple claims of sexual assault. @TheHill reports, represented by San Francisco-based law firm Slater Slater Schulman, over 500 women have come together to file a formal lawsuit against Uber, citing allegations that they were “kidnapped, falsely imprisoned, stalked, harassed and raped,” among other incidents, by contracted drivers registered on the rideshare platform.
