J.K. Simmons on Becoming William Frawley, but Not Really

When J.K. Simmons signs onto our Zoom call, he’s just walking into his home in Los Angeles after a flight from London, where he was on a little vacation with his family after wrapping a shoot in Glasgow for the upcoming Batgirl movie. During these recent jet-setting weeks is when Simmons also found out that he had landed his second Oscar nomination, for playing William Frawley in Aaron Sorkin’s Being the Ricardos.
