Hulu’s brand-new true crime show Welcome to Chippendales is a sprawling saga that actually went down in 1970s Los Angeles. The miniseries tells the outrageous real-life story of an Indian immigrant named Somen “Steve” Banerjee who went from working at a gas station to running the multimillion-dollar male exotic dancer franchise, Chippendales.
