The House GOP took aim, apparently inadvertently, at one of its own on Thursday evening in an attempt to discredit the Jan. 6 hearings. Sarah Matthews, former deputy press secretary in Donald Trump’s White House, testified Thursday that Trump, via tweet, gave the “green light” to rioters to escalate their attack.
