First Lady Jill Biden Will Spend Mother’s Day with Ukrainian Refugees

This year, First Lady Jill Biden is spending her Mother’s Day with the Ukrainian mothers and children that have been displaced from their homes during the Russian invasion of their country. Dr. Biden will travel to Romania and Slovakia on Thursday for a five-day trip during which she will visit with American service members, embassy personnel, and humanitarian aid workers, as well as Ukrainian refugees.
