‘CODA,’ ‘Hacks,’ ‘Succession’ Early Winners at Writers Guild Awards (Updating Live)

The Writers Guild Awards, one of the final stops on this year’s awards cycle, were announced on Sunday. The WGA West-WGA East joint virtual ceremony, hosted by Ashley Nicole Black, started at 4 p.m. PT. The nominations honor outstanding achievement for writing in film, television and new media in 2021.
