André Leon Talley’s Personal Collection to Be Auctioned by Christie’s

Pieces from the personal collection of the late, great fashion editor André Leon Talley will go up for auction through a series of live and online sales at Christie’s, beginning Jan. 27 through Feb. 16. A treasure trove of Talley’s beautiful belongings will be on sale including bespoke clothing, high jewelry and books, to fine and decorative art, personal mementos and correspondences, and proceeds will go towards the churches that meant most to him — the Abyssinian Baptist Church in the City of New York and the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in his native Durham, North Carolina.
