Jan. 6 Committee, DOJ Demand Phone Data From Secret Service, John Eastman

The January 6 committee subpoenaed the Secret Service on Friday, seeking records of the “erased” text messages that were exchanged the day before and on the day of the Capitol attack. The subpoena followed disturbing reports on Friday that the agency had erased texts from January 5 and 6.
