A HUGE soap actor from a classic British favourite is set to join the cast of Coronation Street, show bosses have confirmed. Corrie bosses have revealed that former Brookside legend Simon O’Brien – who played Damon Grant in the C4 drama – has joined the cast of the ITV soap. Simon will play the role of Frank Bardsley, a mysterious new love interest for one Weatherfield resident.
