14 Russian Yachts, Most Still Under Construction, Seized in the Netherlands

Dutch authorities announced that 14 yachts were seized as part of ongoing sanctions against Russia. 12 of the yachts were still under construction, and 2 were undergoing maintenance. No Russian superyachts are currently anchored in the Netherlands, but many are currently being built in shipyards around the country. “Given the current measures, these vessels cannot be delivered, transferred or exported for the moment,” Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra wrote in a letter, translated by Agence-France Presse (AFP).
