Vail Resorts sold a record number of passes for the 2021—2022 winter season, but it’s turning out to be more of a curse than a blessing. In a new report from Outside Magazine, writer Max Ufberg details how Vail Resorts mountains are facing a “logistical nightmare,” with overcrowding, worker shortages, and closed terrain.
