Automatic $600 one-time cash payments to be sent out in huge new boost

A HUGE new cash boost should be arriving for thousands of residents in the coming days. In 2021, California launched two-state stimulus programs: the Golden State Stimulus I and Golden State Stimulus II. These stimulus checks are worth up to $1,200 and $1,100, respectively. To be eligible for either state payment, residents must make less than $75,000 per year and generally have filed 2020 taxes before October 15, 2021.
