Princess Diaries 3 Reportedly a Go at Disney, Anne Hathaway Not Confirmed

A threequel is never late. All other movies are simply early. The Princess Diaries 3 is in development at Disney, Indiewire reports. The film is envisioned as a continuation of the original movies, 2001’s The Princess Diaries and 2004’s The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aadrita Mukerji, who previously worked on TV’s Supergirl and Quantum Leap, is attached to the screenplay, and Debra Martin Chase, a producer on the first two installments of the franchise, is set to return.
