India’s income tax department is conducting searches of the BBC’s offices in the country’s capital New Delhi, according to the Associated Press.

Three BBC staffers informed AP about the searches, the agency said. Meanwhile, a team from the tax department also surveyed the BBC’s Mumbai offices, per
